'Found' Julia last year when staying at my caravan at Kenack Sands. Arranged a regular Reflexology appointment monthly during the season and had booked in a Reflexology facial for the start of the season this year which obviously had to be cancelled. I started to visit Julia, because I felt incredibly out of balance. My hormones were all over the place, I felt really disconnected from my body and scarily anxious and unclear. I knew I needed to apply some self-care and find some balance, if I was going to connect with ‘me' again in some way.

For each session, Julia listened and checked in with what was going on for me. I felt that each session was bespoke to what I needed at that time. I never felt once that she was just going through the motions - the routine. After each session of reflexology, I felt a little bit more myself again but better, better than before. My hormones really settled down, my periods became more regular, my confidence and belief in myself grew. I felt less clouded and that things were a bit clearer.

From my first phone call with Julia I knew she was absolutely the therapist I had been searching for. It would be a round trip of nearly three hours for me to see her, but the distance didn’t matter to me one bit - myself and my husband had made the decision to ‘have one last try‘ at a healthy and successful pregnancy. Sadly I had lost two pregnancies due to them being ectopic, and neither had been without its complications; I had been left with one Fallopian tube as a result - and years of mental/emotional scarring.

I felt a special connection with Julia as soon as I met her. She spent a lot of time healing, balancing and taking care of my emotional wellbeing through her reflexology techniques and meditations, before preparing both my body and mind for pregnancy.

My husband supported me seeing Julia, but holistic therapies were not something he believed in personally, so some parts of the programme were not able to be followed. Julia always made sure she did whatever she could to work around these small hurdles. She would find alternative ways to support us, and provided me with all of the information and techniques I needed to carry on her amazing work at home.

I truly believe that due to the treatments I received from Julia I was mentally and physically in the best place I could be to conceive again, and that the techniques she taught me to use at home during crucial times in my cycle gave me the best chance of being successful - and that dream came true for me. I now have the family of four that I dreamed of and myself and my husband adore our two gorgeous girls.

I continue to see a reflexologist now. I see it as a huge part of my self-care, but I do wish I lived closer to Julia so this could be with her. She will always have a special place in my heart.

I have been receiving excellent care from Julia for a few years now; at first as a monthly back and shoulders or full body massage (which was my much anticipated, regular treat) but, latterly as reflexology. I am amazed how this treatment helps my arthritic joint pain (mostly in the knees), delivers an overall 'loosening' of tight muscles and (though there is some pain!) gives me a great feeling of well being. Julia's choice of ambient music during the session is a real joy and the whole environment feels calm and pleasant. Thanks, Julia!

I was recommended to Julia for helping with lymphedema in my breast following surgery for breast cancer and lymph node removal. I have been suffering considerable swelling and discomfort since radiotherapy.
The wonderful, relaxing treatment worked pretty much immediately. Each time I come, I have a longer period of respite between swelling and much improvement overall.

I approached Julia with regard to reproductive reflexology after having suffered pregnancy loss. From there I embarked on a journey of ovulation charting and regular reflexology sessions including being taught reflexology methods to do at home at certain time during your cycle. I was told my body should be ready to support a pregnancy after three months of treatment. 3 months in and I fell pregnant and am now a proud mum to a gorgeous daughter. I can highly recommend Julia as a therapist. She is caring and supportive and very knowledgeable in her line of work. I can't thank her enough for all her support.

Started having weekly reflexology with Julia from around 22 weeks pregnant after finding out I had a condition called SPD which affects my pelvis. Through the use of regular reflexology with Julia I have been able to carry on with life as normal and haven't needed to use the crutches given to me from the hospital! I always leave feeling relaxed and the aches and pains of pregnancy seem to disappear! I couldn't thank her more!

I saw Julia for a few sessions of Maternity Reflexology last month before the arrival of my little girl. The sessions really helped with my water retention and the final session at 40 weeks kick started my contractions. I would highly recommend to anyone that’s nearing the end of pregnancy even if just for some time to relax and be pampered.

Cannot believe how wonderful my pregnancy massage was today!! I entered in a bit of a bad headspace but was immediately put at ease by Julia, she is so lovely and the room is soo relaxing. I have had a variety of massages before but this is by far my favourite. I pretty quickly forgot that the stones were there, but the warmth from the stones made the massage more effective without being at all painful in my sore areas!

I had a pregnancy massage with Julia yesterday and can quite honestly say it was the best massage I have ever had. I felt totally blissed out throughout, completely relaxed and just able to close my eyes, connect with baby and felt my body completely surrender. Julia eased a lot of my back and hip pain, and I left feeling so much less tension in my upper body. Needless to say I also had a wonderful night's sleep - something that doesn't come easy in the third trimester! I contacted Julia to see if reflexology could help regulate my cycles as I have PCOS and was struggling to conceive. I learned so much about my hormones through charting my temperature and after several months of regular reflexology, my cycles became regular and I started ovulating. I'm now 24 weeks pregnant and couldn't be happier. I'm continuing to have reflexology throughout the pregnancy as I find it so relaxing and it's helped with my nausea. Can't thank Julia enough!

The treatment itself is great for de-stressing and relaxation but the environment and Julia herself really enhance the treatment. Julia cares about you as a person and will give advice on just about anything! Not just the treatment you're booked in for.
